Free Question and Answer Service Suspended

It looks as if we will be taking on a major new writing and photography project in 2009 and this, together with the work involved in writing the refit series that we have committed to for this web site, means that something must give. So after much thought and with genuine regret we are discontinuing our free question and answer service until further notice. We hope to restart it at some future time since we enjoy the process and it has yielded great material for this site; however, we won’t have time for at least a year.
There is one exception to this change and that is that we will still provide reasonable length answers for free to questions about areas in the north that we have cruised where there is little other information available.
