Questions & Answers

We are happy to hear from fellow sailors and answer questions on places we have been, equipment we have tried, boat selection and design criteria, navigation, ice, weather, and the myriad of other subjects that go into making a successful voyage. Not only do we get to meet other voyagers with like interests, but by answering these questions and discussing the answers, we learn too.

We will generally answer one or two reasonably simple e-mailed questions per reader, although, due to time constraints, we can't guarantee that every question will get an answer. Priority will go to those questions that are of general interest to our readers.
